Saudi AI startup DEEP.SA has raised $1.2M (SAR 4.5M) in a pre‑seed round backed by Tam Development and RAED Ventures.

Founded by Dr. Mazen A. Melibari, Mohammed Daggas, Mazen Alotaibi, Ahmed Al‑Suhaim, Fatima Al‑Saeed, and Ahmed Al‑Rashidi, DEEP.SA develops AI engines and specialised AI agents for consumer and government markets.

The company’s approach blends rapid prototyping with commercial agility, shipping early, validating quickly, and doubling down on what works.

Its products include KADI, a customisable AI companion that adapts to user preferences; GraphI, an AI‑powered knowledge graph platform designed for the Saudi public sector; and alPlatformai, which gives companies and government agencies secure, controlled access to AI models.

Melibari, DEEP.SA’s CEO, was previously co‑founder & CTO of Lucidya | لوسيديا, one of Saudi’s most prominent AI‑powered analytics startups, and later served as CTO at TAM | تام, a Saudi‑listed digital transformation firm that integrates technology solutions with advisory services for public and private sector clients, who has also invested in the company.

DEEP.SA is positioning itself as Saudi‑born but globally focused, building its systems locally while targeting both domestic and international markets.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product development, deepen enterprise and government adoption, and expand its footprint beyond Saudi Arabia.
