eMushrif has raised $7.5 million in a funding round led by Jasoor Ventures, with participation from Annex Investment, Ithca Group, IDO Investment, and a group of private investors.

Existing investor Phaze Ventures also participated in the round, backing the company again as it enters its next phase of regional expansion.

The company’s last disclosed funding round was a $2.3 million in a Series A round led by Oman’s IDO Investments back in December 2020.

Founded in 2016 by Adnan Al Shuaili, Awadh Al Shukaili, and Issa Al Shuaili, eMushrif builds technology for school transportation management, combining IoT hardware, AI-driven analytics, and real-time data platforms to improve safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The company works with public and private schools, transport operators, and government entities.

eMushrif currently serves more than 120,000 students across public and private schools in Oman and Kuwait. Its customer base includes both government bodies and private-sector operators, positioning the platform within high-accountability environments where reliability and compliance are critical.

The new funding will be used to support regional expansion, with a primary focus on scaling operations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The company also plans to continue investing in product development and operational capabilities across its existing markets in Oman and Kuwait.

School transportation remains a largely under-digitised segment despite its importance to student safety and daily school operations. eMushrif is targeting this gap by providing an integrated system that offers visibility across routes, vehicles, drivers, and students, enabling schools and authorities to monitor performance and respond in real time.
