InvestSky, a MENA-based social trading platform, has raised $4 million in seed funding to support its expansion into Saudi Arabia, following the approval of its Financial Technology Experimental Permit from the Capital Market Authority (CMA).
The seed round was backed by Emkan Capital, Run Ventures, S3 Ventures (by Joa Capital), and the Al-Romaizan Family Office, bringing total funding raised to $7.4 million. The capital will be used to expand market access for retail investors and scale InvestSky’s regulated social trading platform across the region.
As part of its Saudi launch, InvestSky has entered into a strategic partnership with anb Capital, one of the Kingdom’s leading investment firms. The collaboration allows InvestSky to combine its social-first investing platform with anb Capital’s regulatory infrastructure, enabling Saudi-based users to access both local equities and U.S. stocks in a compliant and cost-efficient manner.
Founded to address structural gaps in retail investing across MENA, InvestSky positions itself as the region’s first social trading platform, blending community-driven insights with regulated market access. The CMA permit enables the company to tailor its offering to Saudi investors while operating within the Kingdom’s capital markets framework.
“This is a significant milestone for InvestSky,” said Turki Alalshaikh, co-founder and managing director. “Receiving the CMA Fintech Experimental Permit and partnering with anb Capital represents a new model for how fintech platforms and licensed institutions can work together in Saudi Arabia.”
Nitish Mittal, founder and CEO of InvestSky, said Saudi Arabia is central to the company’s growth strategy. “Retail investors in the Kingdom have historically faced high barriers to global markets. Our CMA license and partnership with anb Capital are designed to change that by offering regulated access to both local and international equities through an intuitive platform.”
InvestSky is already regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) in the UAE.
