TabSense, a Saudi Arabia-based startup, has raised $5 million in its first funding round led by Jasoor Ventures to scale its AI Agentic Point of Sale (PoS) system for multi-branch and franchise restaurants and cafés.

Founded in 2024 by Mohammed Jaber, Mohammad Khleifat, Shadi Daboor and Mohamad Ababatain, TabSense develops a platform that uses autonomous AI agents to act like digital employees — managing operational tasks, optimizing menus, automating workflows, and delivering real-time insights to operators.

Unlike conventional PoS systems that primarily log transactions, TabSense is designed to scale complex restaurant operations more intelligently. “Our AI agents handle the complex, time-consuming aspects of management — from menu optimization and product recommendations to understanding customer behavior — allowing owners to focus on growth and quality,” said Jaber.

The company currently serves more than 1,000 clients across Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The new funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand sales across the region, and grow its engineering and AI teams.

TabSense has also formed partnerships with STC and Zain Group, and is integrated with major financial institutions to support payment and transaction infrastructure.
