Adam Bataineh, who previously exited his longevity startup Span Health to US-based Eight Sleep, has raised $400k in pre-Seed funding for his new Saudi-based company Madeed.

The round was led by Vision Ventures, with participation from Mashhoor Aldubayan, Mazen Aldarrab, and Abdulla Nadeem Elyas.

Madeed is building a preventative health and longevity platform designed to detect early warning signs of disease before symptoms appear. The company uses lab testing and data analysis to identify risks across hundreds of conditions, with the goal of improving quality of life and extending healthy lifespan through earlier intervention.

Bataineh is a physician and serial entrepreneur with a background in internal medicine, genomics, and oncology.

The pre-seed funding will be used to launch Madeed’s product, expand clinical and laboratory partnerships, and onboard its first cohort of members, with an initial focus on Saudi Arabia.

Madeed is targeting a growing segment of consumers looking to move from reactive healthcare toward continuous, data-driven health optimisation.
