Tabby is deploying NVIDIA HGX systems to build and run advanced AI capabilities locally, aiming to strengthen its customer experience, risk infrastructure, and data sovereignty in its largest market.
By hosting its AI infrastructure on local soil, Tabby is aiming to accelerate the development of AI-powered applications across millions of daily customer interactions. This includes enhancing its customer support through faster and more accurate responses in Arabic and English, improving security and fraud detection with real-time risk scoring models that analyse thousands of data points, and delivering more personalised shopping experiences through sharper recommendations, price comparisons, and tailored deals that benefit both shoppers and retailers.
“AI is now central to how we create exceptional experiences for our customers and a safer payment ecosystem,” said Daniil Barkalov, COO and Co-Founder at Tabby. “With NVIDIA’s HGX systems, we’re investing in faster, more secure capabilities and setting the foundation for sovereign AI in financial services.”
Marc Domenech, Regional Director for the META region at NVIDIA, added that financial services companies need to maintain data sovereignty and regulatory compliance when deploying AI in complex regional markets. “HGX systems and NVIDIA software provide the secure, high-performance infrastructure needed to advance AI capabilities in financial services while ensuring data is processed locally,” he said.
The investment comes as Tabby surpasses 20 million registered users and more than 40,000 retail partners across the GCC, including brands such as SHEIN, Amazon, Adidas, IKEA, H&M, Samsung, and Noon.
