Endeavor Catalyst, the co-investment arm of the global entrepreneur network and a backer of regional startups lilke Tabby, Tamara and Foodics, has closed its fifth fund at $320 million, taking assets under management above $850 million.
The oversubscribed vehicle is its largest to date, exceeding the $300 million target outlined in June 2025. It follows its $292 million Fund IV, which closed in 2022.
Jordan’s government-backed Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund committed $7 million to Fund V in June, up from its $2 million commitment to Catalyst III in 2020.
The new fund’s backers also include founders of Careem and Checkout.com, alongside those of Nubank, Revolut, LinkedIn and Snowflake. Endeavor Entrepreneurs account for 30% of its LPs, according to the announcement.
Launched in 2012, Endeavor Catalyst invests exclusively in companies led by founders selected into the Endeavor network. It joins rounds led by other institutional investors, taking no board seats and never leading deals. Proceeds also help fund the nonprofit’s operations.
The model has produced an established regional portfolio. Earlier funds backed Tabby, while Fund III invested in Foodics and TruKKer, spanning restaurant software and freight logistics. Fund IV backed Saudi BNPL provider Tamara and Egyptian pharmaceutical distribution platform Grinta. More recent MENA investments include Arabic AI company Tarjama, investment platform Thndr and used-car marketplace Sylndr.
Some of those regional holdings have also returned capital. Endeavor Catalyst’s 2025 annual report disclosed partial secondary sales in Tabby and Property Finder, allowing it to sell shares while retaining stakes in both companies.
Fund V is already investing, including in Replit, the US coding platform co-founded by Jordanian entrepreneurs Amjad Masad and Haya Odeh. The pair joined Endeavor’s network in March. Other early investments include Preply, Moove, HappyRobot and satellite company EnduroSat.
Across all five funds, Endeavor Catalyst says it had backed 437 companies across 44 markets as of September 22, deploying more than $500 million. Its portfolio includes 83 companies valued at $1 billion or more, with 39 exits and 11 IPOs to date. Global holdings include ElevenLabs, Bending Spoons and Reflection AI.
Latin America remains its largest region, while Europe has accounted for 12 new investments in the first half of 2026, compared with 14 across all of 2025. The firm says its current pipeline includes foundational AI, cloud infrastructure and deep tech, alongside repeat founders building AI applications.
Endeavor Catalyst expects to deploy another $25 million to $30 million before the end of 2026. The announcement doesn’t specify an allocation for MENA.
